Choose below whether you’d like a 30 ml liquid culture or one colonized petri plate growing on malt, yeast, peptone, and agar. This is an isolated cultivar which colonizes in 21 to 28 days. Fistulina Hepatica also known as the Beefsteak mushroom. It is a super unique mushroom and very uncommonly cultivated. It has an umami flavor with a lemony zest after taste. This cultivar grows best in 65-70°F in single steak slabs and rarely clusters. Grows best on a 15-20% wheat or corn bran mixed with hardwood. Not recommended for beginners!
