Bioreaction Lid

from $15.00

Introducing our Bioreactor Lid, crafted specifically for bulk liquid culture inoculations. Please note, this lid does not include the glass jar or magnetic stir bar.

Designed with functionality and convenience in mind, this lid features three ports to streamline your inoculation process. The port distinguished by the red disc houses a syringe filter, enabling crucial gas exchange while safeguarding against contaminants. After the jar of inoculum is emptied, replace the old syringe filter with a brand new one via male Luer barb to ensure longevity of your new inoculum.

The second port is equipped with a self-healing injection plug, allowing for meticulous quality control of your inoculum. Fear not, as this self-healing injection port is replaceable once it shows signs of wear.

This lid is optimized for use with 60 ml syringes or can be seamlessly connected to a peristaltic pump. For those opting for 10 ml syringes, we recommend considering the check valve attachment to mitigate the risk of air bubbles during filling, though it's not essential for functionality.

(As a bonus, our 64 oz. lid can double as an agar pouring vessel when paired with silicone tubing and a peristaltic pump!)

After completing your inoculation, simply wash the lid with warm water and soap. For reuse, replace syringe filters and syringe ports as needed, ensuring the lid's longevity and continued efficacy with each use.

Experience the ease and reliability of our Bioreaction Lid — a must-have tool for any serious cultivator's arsenal.
